The Mafiri Village now has its own water supply.
The water bore is 155m deep and can supply numerous people in the surrounding area with a flow rate of 4800 litres per hour. In addition to the nearby residents, Alexander Wostry of Sustainable Agriculture Tanzania www.kilimo.org) is also pleased with his agricultural project, which needs the water for his plantations.

The drinking water quality has been confirmed as very good by the University of Dar Es Salaam. The next steps are to install the pump and generator, plan the water tower and implement this as soon as possible. Immediately afterwards the first mud house is built.
