Chickens and eggs are a valuable addition to the menu at the Mafiri Children’s Home. In addition, eggs and chickens can be sold at the market. In a special course, Marcel Mlacha, Director of SBS, learns what needs to be considered in the care and rearing of chickens, and how to build a suitable house so that the poultry can find species-appropriate shelter and is protected from predators.
